Mr. Tony Robinson – Founder of Tire Technology Expo

Tony Robinson, Founder of Tire Technology Expo, announced on September 14 that it has become increasingly clear that the coronavirus pandemic is still an ongoing situation, and that it will unfortunately contribute to significant uncertainty and ongoing travel restrictions. Needless to say, there is no way of anticipating the impact the pandemic will have between now and the end of the year.

In light of these uncertainties, Tire Technology Expo is being postponed to June 8 to 10, 2021, instead of March 2 to 4, 2021. The event will be held in Hannover, Germany, where the company has been able to secure the same hall configuration which they have used in the last three years- Halls 19/20/21, with adjoining conference rooms. The company expects to start detailed planning of the Conference by no later than the start of the New Year which will enable a full conference program to be announced by late February. This would still allow at least three clear months for travel planning. By the end of 2020, a preliminary outline program that will confirm the Conference structure and sessions will be available.

According to Mr Robinson, the exhibitors of Tire Technology Expo have already indicated significant support for the date change and he assures there will be lots of new technologies on the show eventually.
